GREEN ADDU, the tree planting program in Addu |

About 30 volunteers from TakeCare will be participating in the GREEN ADDU program to be initiated on the occasion of World Environment Day, 2010.
The ultimate objective of GREEN ADDU program is making Addu a greener place. Under this program a large number trees will be planted throughout Addu in the days to come. On this year’s Environment Day NGOs, civil servants, MNDF, Police Service and community members, will embark on this endeavor to make Addu the garden atoll of Maldives.
In Hithadhoo, GREEN ADDU program will kick off with the planting of about 300 trees on 5th June 2010 starting from 1630 hours.
The trees will be planted on Hithadhoo Medhe-aari Magu aka Province office Magu , and Fiyathoshi Road aka Hithadhoo Office Magu.
TakeCare welcome and encourage all to come out and join us at 1630 in front of South Province office tomorrow.
TakeCare has received confirmation of similar programs that will take place on the same date in Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo.
