Ask Rozy is section dedicated by TakeCare for women and children. We at TakeCare believe that women and children are the fundamental demographic group in every society. Yet they are the most vulnerable. From domestic violence to sexual abuse, problems faced by them are numerous and traumatic. Often times, crimes perpetrated against women and children occur behind the closed doors of their supposedly safe havens. TakeCare as an NGO works to empower women through coordination, collaboration, and networking with relevant government and other authorities. Furthermore despite the constrains we face, we aim to build the capacity of women through lobbying and advocacy.
Ask Rozy is a digital platform developed by TakeCare for women and children to make their voices heard. Rozy Shareef, TakeCare’s counselor for women and children would address the concerns and issues of women and children and would assist and guide them to overcome their problems.
Rozy hails from Hithadhoo and is by profession a women and children counselor, family planning specialist, nurse, a teacher and a well renowned author.
